I had a pleasant stay in a long time. Hotel was clean and picturesque with very amiable staff and MARVELLOUS location in the very centre of the town. The food was excellent and there were a good choice of dishes in the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my twin room with an excellent bathroom. Location: the venue was near Mirepoix's main attractions.

The hotel's traditional decoration and cozy atmosphere brought back nostalgic memories for me. Every corner had its own unique charm, and the vintage feel was a delightful throwback to my past vacations. The general areas were easily accessible, with wide hallways and well-maintained seating areas that were perfect for relaxing and socializing. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the thoughtful design that catered to our needs.
I would have loved to see the children working at the hotel engage more with the senior guests. It would have added a personal touch to our stay and made us feel even more welcome.

I stayed at this charming old French hotel for three nights as a base to explore Carcassone and the surrounding area. The location in the heart of the historic town is ideal, with the famous market square just steps away. The traditional wooden decor and high ceilings gave the rooms a lovely, nostalgic feel. The courtyard was a beautiful spot for dining, and the food, made with local produce, was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant stay. Can't wait to go back!
Totally recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Commerce in Mirepoix and it was like stepping back in time. The hotel has a charming, old-school French feel that reminded me of nostalgic family vacations from my youth. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the traditional regional cuisine served in the courtyard restaurant was delicious. The location couldn't be better, right near the famous market square. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the rooms were equipped with everything I needed and the wifi worked well once I obtained the code. I will definitely be returning to this authentic and delightful hotel.
100% Recommend this hotel.
